| Doctor arquitecto por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia y catedrático de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Ha sido subdirector general de Información e Investigación en el Ministerio de Cultura, director del Instituto Cervantes en Múnich y en Roma, gerente de la Fundación Cultural COAM y subdirector general del Instituto del Patrimonio Cultural de España.
Ha participado en proyectos de investigación y conservación en Egipto, México, Italia, Guatemala y España. Entre sus libros destacan “Viaje a través de la arquitectura”, “La conservación del patrimonio arquitectónico español”, “Iniciación a la arquitectura”, “Los espacios del saber”, “La vida y la obra de Leopoldo Torres Balbás”, “Los espacios de la mirada”, “El proyecto de arquitectura” y “La intervención en el patrimonio arquitectónico en España 1975-2015”. |

| PhD in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Full Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He has been the Deputy Director General of Information and Research at the Ministry of Culture, Director of the Cervantes Institute in Munich and Rome, Manager of the COAM Cultural Foundation and Deputy Director General of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Spain.
He has participated in Research and Conservation Projects in Egypt, Mexico, Italy, Guatemala and Spain.
